Knoxville Christian School

The mission of Knoxville Christian School is to develop children spiritually, emotionally, academically, and physically with Jesus Christ as their standard and the Holy Bible as their foundation, preparing them to be Godly representatives in their community, church, and home.
 
Shaping the lives of young people as God would have them to be is the basis for the existence of Knoxville Christian School. We believe that God’s word, the Bible, is the best source to help achieve this goal (Psalm 19). Therefore, Bible class and chapel are built into our daily schedule and Biblical teachings are threaded throughout our curriculum.
 
The academic requirements at KCS are guided by the Tennessee State Standards, but KCS strives to go beyond these standards in preparing students for further educational pursuits. We help students become active learners while teaching them that God is the source of all knowledge (Rev. 4:11; Col. 1:17). Teachers work with each child in order to encourage excellence. A student is encouraged and challenged to develop his/her abilities to the fullest extent possible and use them for the glory of God and the good of his fellow man.
